Morocco Odyssey Experience-14 Days 

On this 14-day itinerary, you’ll explore Morocco from top to bottom. Fly into Casablanca, explore the magnificent coastal Hassan II mosque, and visit Rabat, then wander through the photogenic “Blue City” of Chefchaouen. Continue to historic Fes before heading on an adventure through the Sahara. After a four-day desert safari that will take you through remote villages and oases, you’ll be off to Marrakech. Finish your trip with a guided tour of the seaside town of Essaouira before returning to Casablanca.

Day 1: Arrival In Casablanca

Welcome to Casablanca, the vibrant economic heart of Morocco. Your trip with Morocco Private Trip begins with the warmest of welcomes, as your driver, knowledgeable and friendly, greets you at the airport.

You’ll be promptly transferred to your hotel in Casablanca, a haven of comfort and elegance.

If you arrive early, seize the opportunity to explore the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, a marvel of architecture that showcases Moroccan craftsmanship.

Should you arrive later, rest assured—the mosque visit will be thoughtfully rescheduled for the next morning.

Day 2: Casablanca, Rabat & Arrival In Chefchaouen

Today begins with a leisurely breakfast, setting the stage for your journey to the picturesque town of Chefchaouen, accompanied by your private driver.

The day includes a stop in Rabat to explore its regal landmarks, such as Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Discover the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Royal Palace, followed by an immersion in the lively old town.

After lunch, your adventure continues as you make your way to Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Exploring Chefchaouen

After a leisurely breakfast, immerse yourself in the tranquility of Chefchaouen, a picturesque town nestled amidst the majestic Rif Mountains. Wander through its charming streets, adorned in a palette of captivating blue hues, and discover the town’s rich history and cultural heritage.

Enjoy some free time, or take advantage of the services of your personal driver, who is at your disposal for a short excursion into the Rif Mountains.

Day 4: Meknes Majesty And Volubilis Ruins

Today, say goodbye to Chefchaouen as your journey moves on to Volubilis. Explore Roman ruins with mosaics and vibrant tiles, bringing Roman mythology to life.

Continue exploring Meknes, known as the ‘Versailles of Morocco,’ with your local guide. Visit the 18th-century Heri es Souani to see well-preserved granaries and stables from Sultan Moulay Ismail’s era.

Day 5: Fes: A Treasure Trove of Cultural Wonders

Start your day in Fes’s walled medina, a maze alive with spice aromas and artisanal sounds, reflecting Moroccan tradition. With your local guide, explore hidden corners that reveal Fes’s character.

Visit the Foundouk Nejjarine, a caravanserai-turned-museum showcasing woodcraft, and the Bou Inania Madrasa, highlighting Merinid design from 1358.

At the renowned Tannery, observe artisans crafting leather goods, a generations-old practice. Continue to an atelier where master craftsmen create Zellij tiles, embodying Morocco’s artistic heritage.

Day 6: Ifrane, Ziz Valley & Erfoud

Today’s long drive from Fes to Erfoud showcases Morocco’s varied landscapes, starting with Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco”, known for its alpine-style architecture and tranquil mountain ambiance.

Journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques.

Witness the “Atlas Guardians”, mountain dogs that watch over their territories, and stop in Midelt for lunch, famous for its fossils.

Descend into the Ziz Valley, with its lush palm groves, before reaching Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara.

Day 7: Erfoud To Rissani And Sahara Adventure

Start your day in Erfoud, famous for its ancient fossils. After a leisurely breakfast at your kasbah hotel, head to Rissani to explore its lively market and iconic Ksars, and visit Moulay Ali Cherif’s tomb to learn about the Alawite dynasty.

Enjoy lunch with Madfouna – a pizza-like Berber delicacy- and Gnaoua music for an authentic atmosphere.

In the afternoon, take a thrilling 4×4 ride to Merzouga, then experience the Sahara with a spectacular sunset camel trek.

Arrive at your deluxe Berber tents, where nomadic charm meets modern comfort. Enjoy dinner under the starlit sky, a serene and memorable culinary experience. The night is further enhanced with live Saharan music around the campfire, adding to the magic of the desert.

Guests opting out of the camel trek can take a 4×4 directly to the camp for a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Day 8: From Sahara Sunrise To The Skoura Oasis

Experience a picturesque Sahara sunrise before breakfast at your camp, then a 4×4 drive back to Erfoud.

Continue to Skoura Oasis, with stops to explore the ancient Khattarat irrigation system and the Berber culture at the Oasis Museum Khorbat.

Enjoy a delightful lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery of Todra Canyons, followed by a scenic journey through Kalaat M’gouna, known as the Town of Roses.

The day’s travels end in the Skoura Oasis, a UNESCO-protected palmeraie (palm grove).

In this lush paradise, check into a charming restored kasbah-style hotel, an oasis of tranquility amidst the rustling palm leaves and sweet scent of orange blossoms. Time to relax and rejuvenate.

Day 9: Berber Heritage Immersion

After breakfast at your kasbah, your personal local guide leads you to explore Skoura Oasis, highlighting on the 17th-century Kasbah Amridil.

Visit a nearby oasis for a hands-on experience in a traditional Berber home, learning bread-making, tea-making, and cooking a traditional Moroccan meal. Gain insights into Berber customs and values.

Day 10: From Skoura Oasis To Marrakech Via Ouarzazate

Day 11: Unveiling The Authentic Soul Of Marrakech
