Beyond taste, Moroccan cooking is a cultural experience that celebrates hospitality and communal dining, making it a beloved cuisine worldwide for food enthusiasts.
Discover the secrets of Morocco’s unique and richly varied cuisine.

Your cooking workshop starts with a general introduction to Moroccan cooking, highlighting the importance of food in Moroccan society, and the role played over the centuries by the Dada – the traditional female cook.
You will be introduced to the most traditional recipes such as pastilla, couscous, and the many tagines, with descriptions of the ingredients, the all-important spices, and the different methods of cooking. Then you get the chance to put your new knowledge into practice, with an explanation of the recipe of the day and the ingredients that will be used.
Each participant has his/her own workstation and equipment and follows step-by-step the preparation of the dish. A typical workshop teaches an appetizer/salad and a main dish. After class, it’s time to taste the final results!! You will enjoy the meal you have prepared in the shade of fig or olive trees by the hotel pool.
